It All Happened in the Country Christmas Play Announcement December 20, 2009 - 9:25 A.M. There will be one performance tonight at 5:30 p.m. There will be no morning performance today. Come out tonight to see the show and take a break from shoveling snow! The show is a great musical about two city slickers who get stranded in the country and find out there is more to Christmas than the hustle and bustle of presents and decorations. With the help of Cora May, cousin Luther, Uncle Yule and Granny, they learn the story of Christ's birth and how It All Happened In the Country...the countryside of Bethlehem. It's funny, sweet and entertaining! The kids have memorized all of their lines and songs, and we have a band too with piano, base guitar, drums and percussion. After the evening performance, there will be a country-style dinner in Fellowship Hall sponsored by the Board of Christian Education. If you are in the play, please arrive in costume by 4:45 p.m. Hope to see you at the show! |
